Highbar has two plans. Both include registration, an event website and an event app, built on the same event data, with unlimited team members and no implementation or consulting fees.

![The Single event and Platform plans from the Highbar pricing page: $2 per paid registration plus $5 per engaged attendee, or $12,000 per year.](https://help.highbar.ai/images/get-started/pricing-plans.webp)

| | **Single event** | **Platform** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Price | $2 per paid registration, plus $5 per engaged attendee | $12,000 per year |
| Events | One | Unlimited |
| Registrations | $2 per paid registration; free registrations cost nothing | Unlimited, no per-registration fee |
| Event apps | $5 per engaged attendee, capped at $9,500 per event | Unlimited, with 3,000 engaged attendees included; beyond that, overage bills at your plan's rate |
| Websites | Included | Unlimited |
| Term | Pay as you go: no contract, no minimum | 12 months, no auto-renewal |

You can start free: building your registration, website and app costs nothing until attendees use them.

## What counts as an engaged attendee

An engaged attendee is someone who signs in and actually uses your event app, not everyone who registered and not people who never showed up. If 1,000 people register and 600 use the app, you pay for 600. See [How engagement is measured](https://help.highbar.ai/docs/analytics/engagement-metrics) for exactly when someone counts and where to watch the number during your event.

If fewer people turn up than you expected, you pay less: there's no minimum spend on a single event. If far more turn up, a single event never costs more than the cap.

## Paid registrations

On a single event, Highbar charges a fee for each paid registration and takes no percentage of your ticket revenue. On the Platform plan, the fee is included. Card processing fees from the payment provider pass through at cost.

## When you're billed

- **Single event.** When you [launch your app](https://help.highbar.ai/docs/event-app/launch), you add a card. Nothing is charged upfront: Highbar charges it after your event, based on actual engagement.
- **Contract or Platform plan.** If your organization has an agreement with Highbar, the launch steps show **Covered by your contract** and don't ask for a card.

## Moving between plans

You can run one event on the Single event plan and then move to Platform. If you move in the same year, what you've already spent comes off the license price.

## Leaving

You can export all of your data (attendees, registrations and engagement) at any time, at no charge.
