What is Highbar
How Highbar's event app, registration and website fit together, and who uses which part.
Highbar is an event platform you set up yourself: registration, an event website and an event app with an AI Concierge, all built on the same event data. Add a speaker once and the website, the agenda and the app all show them.

The parts of Highbar
- Event app. A web app attendees open from a link and can add to their home screen. It holds your schedule, speakers, sponsors, maps and resources, plus networking, messaging, 1:1 meetings, an activity stream and gamification. The AI Concierge answers attendees' questions about your event in plain language.
- Registration. Build a registration flow by describing it, with ticket types, approvals, forms and payments. Registrants can go straight into the event app.
- Website. Build an event website by describing it, then publish it on a Highbar address or your own domain.
How an event comes together
Set up. Work through the setup steps in the event sidebar: Event, AI, Content, App menu, Start page and Access. The Quickstart walks you through them.
Launch. Launch your app to publish it at its own link, then share the link and QR code with attendees.
Run. During the event, send push notifications, manage the community and meetings, and keep content up to date. Changes show up in the app as you save them.
Measure. Follow registrations, app users and engagement live, then export reports for your team and sponsors.
Your account
When you sign up, Highbar creates a Demo event in your account, so you can explore a finished app before building your own. Events belong to an organization, and you can invite collaborators to work on an event with you. You only pay once attendees use what you've built: see Pricing and billing.
